    Had Britbox a while back. Decided to go with Acorn but that’s now getting boring. Decided to try BB again. The app in Apple TV Apps has the download arrow so I clicked on it but it won’t download. Keeps spinning. I unplugged Apple TV and retried. Still nothing. I streamed. 2 different shows from iPad. The CC works on the iPad but doesn’t show up on tv when streaming. There is also no CC option on tv, though there is option for audio settings. Apple TV is not 4k but all our other apps work fine. May have to drop BB if we can’t get CC to work on the tv.

    Every time BritBox program updates, system logs me out and I need to log back in. This never happens with any other streaming network, only with BritBox. It is frustrating that I have to log in constantly. Developer needs to fix this annoyance m. After all we are paying lots of money for this service. If this is not fixed, seriously thinking to cancel the service. There are plenty quality streaming services available we don’t need this activation.

    If you pause a show and come back to it later it doesn’t resume it starts it over. If say you are in season 2 of show, every time you go to that show it defaults to season 1 not to the season you are currently watching

  • Apple TV app is broken

    The Apple TV app won’t work on my TV anymore. I went to the link the developer continues to post in every “app is broken” review. Customer service at the link sent me to their troubleshooting page. Really helpful tips like reboot the device and reinstall the app. As if those weren’t the first things I did. Another subscription to cancel.

    I absolutely adore period pieces and these characters come to life with the production and screenplays written for Brit box…not war type episodes, but these characters bring on every emotion for me…Simply Marvelous…have 1/2 a mind to read the books now!!!     Love the variety of shows. Would have been five stars if the phone would turn off after a show ends, and there’s no reaction from a user. I sometimes fall asleep and hours later wake up to find my battery depleted because Britbox didn’t turn itself off. 🫤

    I subscribed tonight through Apple TV on my Mac. It launches, but never plays anything and sometimes the channel—not apples Mac TV—simply crashes and defaults to the app. I recall having this problem about two years and couldn’t get any help, so I cancelled the same day I subscribed. I’m canceling again tonight. Thanks for the crappie app and no help via britbox.

    The subtitle font size on BritBox is too small, and the overall positioning is uncomfortable, which significantly affects the viewing experience. Could you please refer to the subtitle styling used by National Theatre at Home?
