It’s just ok. I like the sounds, lights, and wifi capabilities but it needs improvement. My BIGGEST problem is that I like to use this as a baby monitor but I have to click through all the directions on how to use it as a monitor EVERY TIME I need to turn the monitor on or off. It’s very annoying. I can’t just click the monitor on or off. It’s also not great for traveling because it has a meltdown every time I have to program a new wifi.
  • Keeps skipping

The hatch 2nd gen skips sound every 3 seconds tried lots of things to get it to stop not sure if it was an app update as it didn’t do it before, frustrating!
  • So freaking slow…..

I love the alarm clock and its features, but to set up the features and alarms take so stupidly long it’s actually embarrassing. & it’s definitely annoying if you’re someone how likes to use every feature like setting up the color of your light & more, just for it to say “error” or whatever it says and you have to start all over to find your specific desired settings just to set one singular alarm…. Please fix this. Respectfully ❤️
  • App/Website terrible user experience

Subscribed to hatch+ twice and it never shows up in my account. I can’t manage my subscription through the app nor through the website so now I will be getting charged twice, through the App Store and on my credit card with no ability to cancel it. Been paying for a year without access. Horrible user experience
  • Only 1 hatch per account

Absolute garbage that I can’t set up multiple alarms for the kids in my house from the same app. It’ll let you add them to the same account but you won’t hit an error until you try to set up overlapping alarms. Terrible user experience with no indication of what went wrong without digging through support articles.
  • Good but not great

Love the idea and hatch works well, only thing is the app is soooo slow loading and crashes probably 75% of the time you ask it to do anything. I get so annoyed with it I give up trying to change anything in my routine every time
  • Worst app and device pairing I’ve seen

    By Horrible App! Worst ever!
Literally the worst pairing system ever. Registered the device fine no problem! Paired and all! Went to go share it as they recommended with my partner for them to have it on their phone. Gives a simple “not working try again error” and then guess what? Signs me out! Ok no problem, let me sign back in. Signs back in no problem to the same account I literally registered it with 5 seconds ago. Nope! Submit a help request because this batch is already registered . Not an end user problem at all , do not even try that, I’ve done more than enough troubleshooting to verify this is a horrible app. Glad they want a 50 dollar a year subscription though!
  • Pretty buggy & slow

Good concept, apps kind of slow, a little unintuitive & pushes towards subscription. Good quality though
  • Revised - hatch is a good app, good company

After an update failed and “bricked” our HATC, I was very frustrated. After posting a unsatisfied review, Hatch reached out to me directly and fixed the issue pretty quickly. Would recommend.
  • UX on the app is atrocious

I love the physical product but I want to pull my hair out trying to program a routine using the app. To save or edit a routine it will freeze, force you to hard close then reopen, and even then half the time the changes aren’t saved or the one you’re trying to delete is still there (or duplicated in many cases). I don’t understand how they designed an app with such poor connectivity to their own product, it’s truly baffling.
