Uber - Driver: Drive & Deliver

It’s so sad and depressing that uber is doing us drivers like this. Why would they ever think that we should take these unspeakable trips? Etc… 10$ for 1 hr and 14 mins ??? Like who does these??? 7.28$ for 52 mins??? How do we even function with gas going up and tolls , not to mention the often oil changes and tire wear and repairs…. Are we really even making anything??? I feel we and are cars are being used and not compensated for not only our time but the wear and tear on our cars we . Literally we get into loans that’s for 6 yrs and our cars have over 300,000 miles on it by 3 yrs and then we are in the hole with no car for 3$ 4$ and 5$ rides ??? I think I’m just going to start looking for a job , at least it won’t tear up my car and won’t have so much gas or oil changes and I’ll be making about the same even at 12$ or 13$ per hour cause I won’t be spending money on gas tolls and unexpected repairs not to mention we’re luck if we make 100$ a night and that’s not deducting gas and tolls so we really make less than that. It’s a shame because I love driving and I love the job … Ubers just so selfish and is constantly ripping us drivers off all the way around!

Stop being cheap and give the drivers the money that you take from the riders Not from you 😡😡😡😡

They have such misleading “promotions” they have you drive EXTREMELY far for VERY cheap. DoorDash is better

I used to drive a 2021 Acura TLX and i used to get comfort and select rides till Uber decided to get rid of select last year, but i continued to get comfort rides. Since the earnings on Uber have really dropped i decided to upgrade my car four months ago to a newer, more spacious, more expensive EV, so that i can keep on getting comfort rides, and also comfort electric rides which pay more. Unfortunately i haven’t been able to do a single comfort electric trip because Uber is yet to add this vehicle to their vehicle list, even though this vehicle is a year old. I just can’t understand why this is taking so long, every Acura model is on the list, besides the 2024 ZDX, even the old 2008 ZDX is on the list. Kia, Ford, and Hyundai are also on the list for comfort electric, but not Acura which is a luxury vehicle, this makes no sense at all. I’m beyond disappointed in Uber, and i honestly believe that Uber doesn’t care about its drivers. I upgraded my vehicle to a luxury EV so that i can be getting comfort electric trips, it doesn’t make any sense that i get comfort trips, but not comfort electric trips. I am a diamond driver that has been driving for Uber for over 6 years, and i have over 10k trips. This is definitely not the way Uber should be treating a long time driver. I’m driving a $70k luxury EV and not getting comfort electric trips. Passengers keep on asking me how come I’m not doing Black with such a nice vehicle.

I repeatedly wrote to the support about my problem that I am not shown batch orders, but none of them could solve my problem

Llevo dos años siendo socia conductora de uber. Aunque es buen trabajo, si tiene varias cosas que debería mejorar en mapa, viajes, ganancias; etc. Pero mi queja específica se dirige al sistema de “soporte”, quienes están supuestos a ayudarte con cualquier inconveniente o problema que tengas. He reportado varias cosas directamente con ellos sobre problemas con mis viajes o con mi perfil de uber, y lo único que hacen es “transferirme” porque ellos no pueden ayudarme con eso; y el otro equipo de soporte nunca aparece. Nunca me han resuelto ninguno de los problemas que he reportado.

As a driver you’re given choices of nearby deliveries to make. You assume once you accept and are awarded an order, you will go and pick it up and deliver it. However, uber eats can allow someone else to pick up the order without alerting you. So you will arrive to find out it’s been picked up by another driver. You then follow a series of prompts alerting Uber something has gone wrong. It will even tell you that if you do this often it will hurt your ratings. I chatted with support about the situation and they tell me they will not even compensate you for your time even though you accepted and were given the order. They have allowed someone else to make the money from that order and now you’re out of luck, robbed of your time and the money you were working for. You make nothing and uber doesn’t care.

I’m amazed at how this app still lets people tip bait you! This should be illegal!
