Can’t use my car play or anything else that came with the car , this app is garbage for what you pay , there isn’t much that can be done that’s really needed.

Worked well to READ current configuration from ECUs in a 2018 BMW 430i convertible, but I could not use the “Code” option to change settings unless I pay $50. So, tool is not free as I thought. Once I paid $50 I was able to code some changes in ECUs settings. For example, have the rear taillight on as day lights, in addition to the angel eyes in front, enable auto side mirrors fold, enable digital speed display in instrument cluster, fog lights enabled with parking light and high beam, and other little things like that. NOTE: BimmerLink, the sister app that apparently reads and resets DTC warnings/faults (check engine lights and such), is NOT included with BimmerCode. So, need to fork another $40 for BimmerLink. I ended up downloading the no cost CarScanner app and it worked flawlessly to scan the DTCs and link to web pages describing diagnostics and investigation paths for warnings/faults found.

I got Rex unlock so I’m good all the other codes or most of them where where I like them but in reverse my passenger mirror was set at 50%. I changed it to 80 and now it doesn’t work at all. I tried to go back to 50% but still the mirror does not respond to the reverse any more that’s loses one star and I would still buy it again Alden spent $75 which is a lot cheaper than what BMW charged me thank you

Could not scan engine codes or do any basic functions. Mainly focused on lighting functions. I thought buying the full version would allow me to scan the codes on my car so I got scammed out of 50 dollars. Don’t waste your money!
