  • Don’t believe this it’s a scam

    I have the same issue as another customer. Apple needs to seriously do something about TotalAV. I got a message from TotalAV about a bill and account expiration. I also had no clue what TotalAV was, I also looked it up. I do not remember ever purchasing TotalAV, I remember my purchase. Whenever I look up things like this I look for free or just stick with the security on my phone. Well my phone has been acting up and need help cleaning up storage. I was offered a great deal of $1.99 plus 2 extra services, had to pay within a time limit. The offer was just so good because I could cancel at anytime. Well seconds later ( literally seconds later ) I tried to cancel my account. The customer support tells me no I have to finish my service. I didn’t get anything that they offered. I do not like TotalAV and want a refund from these scammers. They have not protected anything on my phone but they surely asked for complete phone access. I don’t want TotalAV having full access to my phone they are the scammers. I tried deleting the app because there is a website but it wouldn’t let me. Who is in control of my phone me the owner or TotalAV. Don’t trust them keep your money and phone storage space. I just want to add that writing reviews is something I never do. I like and usually read reviews, will for now on. Wrote review because something needs to be done about this and Apple needs to take their name off.

    I used your free trial back in July or June and canceled it before the deadline and I just found out this week that I have been getting charged every month since then for your app that I do not and have not had in months. I don’t know how or why it’s happening other than the free trial. And I have the screenshot of the cancellation. I haven’t scene a contact us link so that’s why I am writing you here.

    I was searching for a good app to used for protection and decided to purchase this for $1.99 for the first month. Then it was going up to $9.95. After going with a different company I cancel this service through my Apple subscription list (since that’s where I subscribed). 30 days later I get charged for the App and is told I never canceled. Beware!!! I never login anywhere. Just pay attention to these apps that are taking your money. Even though it was cancelled the same way I purchased it. They had a whole different section that I needed to cancel. I don’t like sneaky stuff like that.

    The setup is confusing. I click ok and it brings me back to the same place. I try to follow instructions and what appears on my screen does not jibe with the instructions.

    I signed up for this thing for$2.99 and it gave me an option to use it on three different devices. Then the next thing I noticed they was charging me $7.99 but still cannot get it to work so I added Total Adblock, which was supposed to be for a $1.99 and I never could get it to work so I finally get on here and see that they are charging me $14.99 and nothing works. They keep saying that my prescription has expired. I don’t know how long this has been going on but I like to answer why I’m being charged so much and why nothing works.

    I haven’t figured out how to troubleshoot and figure out why my web shield keeps shutting off without me knowing it, then I have to turn back on , shouldn’t have to keep doing that.
