    There’s zero consistency in power ratings for characters, but the newest ones and you will be competitive. Play for years building your team and it won’t matter because the older characters are weak and useless. Don’t play this waste of time

    It’s ok, constantly getting attacked by all enemies, meanwhile on my end I can only attack once … game makes no sense whatsoever

    7 year player and I just parked my account. This is a %100 P2P game. When I say pay to play I mean pay a lot to play. The odds on getting a good hero is almost impossible. The only competitors successful are spending $1k a week to keep up. Whatever you do, don’t give them a dime of your money. You will see when you download the game and can’t see the home screen bc of all of the offers, hard to navigate when you can’t see the board.

    The game is lots of fun but it will cost you lots of money, don’t listen to the “free to play” stuff, however, that’s not problem, the worst thing about the game is tech support, they are not helpful at all and if you run into any problems you are screwed and you will be better off quitting right then because help is not coming.

  • Love the game, hate the beta

    I’ve been playing this game for several years now, and it’s probably the best game you can ask for that doesn’t require you to pay for add one in order to move forward. My one concern/complaint is that some of the ideas they’re moving forward with take away from the enjoyment of the game. One of the newer ones “ancient terror” is part of the wars, where every few turns the chance your characters special abilities will be cast upon the opposite team it was meant for. What I’ve noticed is the likelihood that it happens to my team is a lot higher than the opposing team. If more betas like this are tried and then implemented, I may have to find another game.

    The new features like insanity war are more and more unplayable. Our whole team is going to boycott the next one to come

    I have played for more than 3 years and have a team with depth of heroes. It used to be top teams against top teams and if you learn the strengths and weaknesses of your players against opponents, you had a chance to win against better teams. It was a 5* game. Now they have worked to “balance” the game and it does not pay to spend the time or the money to build the team because they have taken away the advantage of having a strong team or know how with a random called insanity that is applied to your team by the game that causes you to cast your special skills against yourself. Thereby eliminating any advantage you have by learning the game and building it up. Stupid. This craziness of taking a great game and destroying the sense of competition in favor of equalizing the game for everyone. Goodbye Empires!! You’ll be joining the great games graveyard because you couldn’t leave well enough alone.
