Let’s start off with how the records produced print in the most inept order possible, by most recently updated topic, but starting from oldest to newest It’s a parents nightmare in court to be able to show a real story from this thing Some judges in Florida even know to skim then skip pages to find the relevant recent dates of messages buried several to dozens pages deep - but of course it’s too easy to miss messages in the true context of chronological order - and only part of a story gets seen This is one major issue of too many to count, but probably the worst as this tool truly deserves a class action for purposely racking up family law bills by making it more difficult to show contextual communication Unfortunately none of us using this tool likely has time for that.
  • $324 a year

As of October 2024 it cost 324$ a year for this app. The main feature in the premium tier is calling which uses google. A free program. I understand Apple gets their 30% cut but holy moly. This is getting insane for a messaging app that bugs out every few weeks. Started using this app in 2022 and my son turns 18 I’ll have been into this app for 3900$ IF they don’t raise the prices.
  • You’ve broken your app

10/20/24 STILL BROKEN - FIX YOUR APP. The app is basically broken now. Opening it leaves me in a perpetual loading screen video. If the app does open I can no longer read the subject line because it gets cut off, no matter how you view it. Then more loading problems if you want to open a message. How can parents talk when you break your app??????
  • Not worth $12 a month!

How in the world is this app worth $12 a month? Nothing like taking advantage of parents trying to use this app in order to communicate with their ex and have to use it because they manipulate messages in other communication applications and delete messages. Get rid of some of the features that are not used and stop taking people over the coals for an app that’s not worth $12.
  • Please remove the mini movies

The app was working well before, but now you’re forced to watch mini clips while waiting for it to load. Please revert it so the app opens directly to messages instead of showing clips of parents with their kids.

Since the new version of the app came out when I try to call my co-parent it will never connect so I have to continue to send them money for minutes so they can call me all the time I have talked to support and done what they have told me and it is has done nothing to help me just go back to the old set up I had absolutely no problems with anything on here
  • Access should be through phone number

There should be only one way to access this app. It should only be able to be used on a phone with a designated number. Because it can be downloaded and signed in on numerous devices, my ex husband has his wife signed in on her phone and she’s the one answering back. Usually harassing me. Now the price has gone up to $12 a month, and the court ordered we have to communicate war, I’d expect a better product.
  • Horrible app that steals money

This is a 1 star app. Not only do they steal money from families with a subscription fee they also steal money from child support adding a percentage fee to the payments. Stay always from this app if you can. They’ll probably lie to you with a reply on this. Watch them lie and steal from you.
  • Not up to par

I signed up for the free Talking Parents service. I got charged for the $30 service which is the premium service It was difficult to discontinue it because I had a do it through Apple apps, despite leaving numerous messages requesting that the service be discontinued. The dictations are frequently not accurate and nonsensical which lens itself to catastrophic meanings that when taken out of context by an unfriendly partner and presented to the court, they can be frequently very damaging. Once I canceled the premium service I lost my free service as well and thereby is only able to receive calls from my children and not make any further calls. I believe the administrators of this app are dishonest and the service is sub par and therefore potentially dangerous when misrepresented in court.
  • Video calls stopped working recently & UI change

Video calls have stopped working recently where outgoing calls the other person can see me but I can’t see them, and the recording shows they can see me. This is really Unacceptable for something that is accepted for a court. There’s been several hiccups with the audio and video for the past year with the app but recently it’s gotten worse with the the recent ui changes. Additionally— using this app it seems unacceptable we pay for minutes and they do not roll over. With the recent UI changes, the timestamps are very confusing and it takes longer to submit messages. If you don’t have internet service the application automatically signs you out if you open it.
