ABOUT PARALLELS DESKTOP Parallels Desktop is a powerful virtual desktop Mac application that enables users to run Windows, Linux, and macOS operating systems and applications on their Mac with Intel or Apple silicon chips. Parallels Desktop makes this possible through desktop virtualization, utilizing software technology to create a virtual machine. This VM functions as a virtual PC within your Mac, allowing you to install and operate operating systems just as they would on a physical computer. If you enjoy using Parallels Desktop or have an idea you'd like to share with us, please leave a review. DISCLAIMER It is not recommended that existing Parallels Desktop on the Standard or Pro version users move to Parallels Desktop App Store Edition. Learn more: https://kb.parallels.com/en/123796.

While I have benefitted from using parallels to run CAD in a windows environment, I do not appreciate the level of intrusion that parallels gives to windows to invade my OSX (superior) desktop environment. I have hated windows for most of my life, they are incredibly guilty for the horror they’ve caused since the earliest versions of Windows. APPLE you need to do something about this…asap.

Garbage software, garbage support team. Software crashes consistently with minimally intensive workflow. Support is not helpful and runs you around a million different ways so they can deny your refund if 30 days has passed.

Very slow. I’m running a Mac Pro with a 2.7 ghz 12 core and 128 gb ram. And windows is slow. Only allowing 1 core cpu and a max of 8gb ram. I purchased an apple gift card to buy this app as I don’t load my debit card on app for security. I know won’t have to worry about apply payments for 2-3 years. As I don’t buy many apps. wasted time and money going back to dual boot.

Activation Key.; I am.using this app with a 2020 MacBook Pro to stream Window 11 games through an app called EA. Most games won’t play because Windows requires me to confirm the Activation key (“ this can be found in an email used after purchasing official Windows product, or found on authentication sticker which should be on the product”) which is a 25 digit code. If you don't have the infrastructure to run virtual machines on a server, this is a excellent option to use in place of it. Much cheaper and comes with all the bell and whistles you need to run Windows or Linux if you us MacOS. Perfect tool for software engineers who work for themselves. Keeps cost low and allows most of the same functionalities as working for a fortune 500 corporation. Free trial is available if you aren't sure. Just know when you try, you'll definitely buy. Enjoy the riches!
