Not able to see the video controls in videos where video matches text color. No options to adjust this.
  • Solid, but needs playback improvements.

The app is solid. However, the playback can be improved. The pause, play, rewind, and fast forward buttons are not visible against a white background. The screen should get darker so we can see the white UX buttons. Or add a drop shadow. Or give us the option to change the playback color and size. It’s not usable I’m it’s current form. Other video players have a better interface.

Where are the options to stop/play a video, as well as the option in settings to turn off continuous play.
  • UI needs fixing in areas

Overall app is okay. However, the ability to pause videos needs to be fixed. I cannot see the white pause button at all against a white background. If a light grey gradient would be added it, a secondary pause button in the corner by the video scrub bar, or even the ability to tap anywhere on the video to pause it would help tremendously. This would prevent users from having to click multiple times trying to guess where it’s located. I beg you to fix this issue please.
  • Missing exportable, transcript and contrasting video player controls

No exportable transcript, no contrast and colors around the controls in the video player would show up as white on a white background, and you can’t even see where the controllers are! App crashes all the time and I have to restart my training.
  • Difficult to fast forward or pause on iPhone and iPad

Some of the videos have a white background. It is very difficult to pause, rewind 10 secs, etc. in the apps on iPhone and iPad.
  • Can’t see the controls!

The control buttons (play/pause, skip, rewind) are white without any outline. When a white slide or large picture appears, the controls are completely invisible. Please change this so that the controls are more visible in these situations.

I love the platform but I have an older iPad that will not update to the latest OS and now I can’t continue my training. Take off the version lock prompt and let users on older devices use the app!!! 😡😡😡
  • Abandoned app?

I doubt LinkedIn Learning might be already abandoned. A very simple bug that effects greatly on users experience like the video player interfaces was there for such a long time. It's that they chose the play/pause in white and won't be dimming the video when click, so guess what, in a white dominant video, you won't be able to see the play/pause icons! you need to randomly touch the center of the video to control!
  • Can’t cast video to TV anymore

I love the content but the app is lacking because casting video with Airplay is broken (used to work). Since the Desktop/browser version also doesn’t cast to devices and there is no Roku app, there’s no way to play LinkedIn Learning courses on my TV. Please fix Airplay Video casting!
