    Somehow, I’m still able to receive notifications but when I open the app, it’s giving me a message saying error try again reload but nothing works of reinstalled uninstalled the app tried to contact customer service and they’ve been no help

    I honestly don’t like the new interface. It requires endless amounts of scrolling and compared to the old interface, it’s much more difficult to get a full picture of your “Timing” and all the astrological events that are currently impacting you individually, as well as what is to come. Also, the old interface was much more informative - now they give you unhelpful teaser information in an attempt to get you to pay to see the rest of the content…but if the teaser info is fluff and lacking, why would I feel inclined to pay to possibly see more of the same?

    I have been using The Pattern for a while now, and while I am continually amazed by the app’s content, I can’t help but feel a bit bewildered by some of the recent criticism surrounding it. I understand that longtime users miss the old version—yes, the community-driven astrology vibe was special. It felt like a safe space where like-minded (or should I say like-signed, haha) people could discuss their ups and downs based on the current transits. It gave a sense of connection in an often overwhelming world. I get why it resonated with people. That said, I believe the heart and soul of this app remains. The developers didn’t “ruin” it; they simply gave it a major refresh. The new design is slick, and the daily tidbits are thoughtful and balanced. This app stands out from others in the astrology space (looking at you, Co-Star) because it doesn’t bog users down with negativity. The new audio readings, for example, are a standout feature. The sound design is polished, and the content feels professionally produced—kudos to the creators behind the scenes. However, I do share some of the frustrations around the subscription model. The fact that the free version offers just a brief 1-2 minute audio sample before prompting users to commit to the full experience for $84 a year feels a bit restrictive. While the full audio content is high-quality and worth paying for, it’s hard to justify that cost without a better preview. Maybe offering extended free chapters or a more generous trial period could help users feel more comfortable investing in the full version. It would be a small shift that could turn curiosity into loyalty. I also think there’s an opportunity here to explore alternative monetization strategies. Perhaps a tiered subscription model could work, offering mid-level pricing for users who want more than the free version but aren’t ready to commit to a yearly plan. This could satisfy a broader range of users and reduce some of the frustration you see in the reviews, especially among those who miss the old app. At the end of the day, I think the developers have put immense effort into making this update meaningful, and while no app is perfect, The Pattern still delivers unique, thoughtful astrology content that I appreciate. My hope is that the creators continue refining both the content and the pricing model so that more users can enjoy the full experience without hesitation.

    Love this app and love how you placed the transits and planets above the breakdowns but why did you all remove the community part? It really helped to hear others experiences through similar transits!

    This used to be my favorite app until it changed to the limiting swipe feature and now you have to pay for most things. I would have given it 5 stars before. The app is ruined now.

    I’m giving an extra star because I’ve used this app for years and loved it before but I’m sure I’m not the only one annoyed that you have to subscribe now to get any deeper insight that used to be free. I don’t want to pay for another subscription so this is disappointing. I get that we are all pressed for money but Please make the free version less limited

    this app used to be soooo good but now everything is paywalled. The features that are free are years old at this point, you can only look at your pattern so many times before you wanna branch out, but can’t without paying a ridiculous amount of money.

    The recent update overhaul from a few months ago completely changed the app for the worse. I know other people in forums have expressed their concern as well. Everything is behind a paywall now, going “deeper” into summaries leads to in autoplay voice over and the option for “deeper+” which is another paywall. I’m gonna delete this app Used to be good. Now I can’t even see dates or times or community notes

    luv the app, has lots of cool insight and help me w my full and new moon rituals. i loved the old version tho pls bring it back, i enjoyed talking to the community and seeing what they’re up to/meeting new people who might be going thru the same things as i am. i feel like the new layout is also very confusing. i enjoyed the old layout it was less complex for me to understand. i think now i have to pay to go deeper on the full moon insight which i rlly don’t appreciate

    I have been an avid Pattern user for YEARS. This used to be my absolute favorite astrology app of all time. Yes the reminders of patterns got repetitive, but I found that the repetition helped me recognize the patterns that were popping up in my life over time, even if I didn’t fully understand them at first. I loved being able to take my time and swipe and read about patterns and astrological aspects and allow them to fully digest on my own time. I loved that information was broken down in a very easy to read way. Now everything’s changed and I hate opening the app. For some reason they went from displaying easy to read information to a podcast type format??? I don’t understand, if you built a user base based on reading, why try switching to a listening user base?? Why isolate your user like that?
