  • The new design is awful

    This app was pretty nice however about a year ago it updated to pretty much a pay wall for everything. The cycles were reduced heavily. seems to focused on paywall podcast rather than information. Podcast wants the way to go. This app will be dead in 2-3 years. That revamp wasn’t needed. Big miss in that one

  • The redesign ruined everything

    This app was perfect before the redesign. I really did give the redesign a chance but it’s just plain awful. Deleted my account and the app after using it for years. So sad.

  • Doesn’t work

    Ive tried several times to get this app as several friends have fun with it. No matter how many times I delete and reinstall it I continue to get an error message that says “we’ve detected a problem” something went wrong try again.”

  • Don’t like the audio format

    I realize that the entire app is not in the new audio format. I used to read everything when first waking up and listening to audio disturbs my partner in the mornings. I wish the app had a setting that it was either text or audio.

    Hadn’t updated the app in awhile. Decided to update after paying for subscription & really regret it. New layout makes it hard to find anything, and new aesthetic choices are distracting & don’t really make me feel enmeshed with the app or my spiritual practice. Audio features are great but I really regret spending money on this with the new design and wish I could get my money back.

    I’ve had this app for a few years, and I loved it! However over the last few recent updates I notice myself rarely opening the app, to the point of considering just removing it completely. What used to be a really enjoyable, simple and useful experience: learning about my own astrology. Has now turned into an overly complicated and overwhelming experience. What used to be my favorite part of the app- which was the communal section, where those with similar placements could comment and express themselves- has now been removed? This was my favorite astrology app but since it’s been heavily focused on more profit for information, it seems completely useless to me.

    I absolutely love this app! It really encourages me to live my best life according to a very specific pattern based on my personal information. The accuracy is unreal. However, I only gave it 4 out of 5 stars because it’s too pricey. The subscriptions are $90 annually or $30 quarterly. If they would add a monthly subscription instead of only annual or quarterly, I would definitely subscribe.

  • Everything is behind a paywall...

    I am a long time user of the pattern and have always loved it. However, as they continue to update the app, they have made the interface much more confusing and put all of the best features of the app behind a pay wall. It's truly a shame. What once was my #1 go-to astrology app, I never use because I no longer have access to any useful features. I hope that they change this in the future, but I'm doubtful since this is the trajectory of most apps these days. Anyone who is reading this, go download the CHANI app instead. CHANI and her team are not motivated by greed. Their mission is to make astrology as accessible as possible. There is so much more information on the CHANI app FOR FREE than there is on the pattern.

    I love the pattern, but the template for the content has gotten for too complicated in my opinion over time. As someone deeply interested in astrology, I used to love that the pattern used astrological insights sans the dense terminology where you couldn’t fully understand its algorithm but the perspectives hit so hard… now it’s overloaded with stuff that drowns the most unique elements out. I would simply like to check the notification I received where it says I’ve concluded a cycle, but it’s lost in all the other stuff I don’t care to see, so I can’t enjoy or even find that very small piece of content that made the app special to me. Love the app but pleaseee keep it simple like the earlier days. Too overwhelming and not hitting home for me I fear.
