Life Cycle weekly journal provides personalized insights and clarity to your week passed. Start each week with a look back. Remember where you’ve been and vision where you’re going. Whether you’re just curious of how your time is spent or looking to make a change, Life Cycle is your daily companion, providing you with all the information and insights you need. What’s more - it uses only 1% of your phone’s battery while it seamlessly does the work. FREE FEATURES • Automatic - Life Cycle works in the background, recording and sorting what you do as you go about your daily business. • Less than 1% battery - Life Cycle uses less than 1% of your battery per day as it runs in the background. • Weekly journal - Weekly insight to activities, accompanied by photos tied to moments passed. • From a day to a year - view your life day by day, week by week, month by month or even year by year. • Apple Health - Fully integrated. Imports all activities, mindfulness and sleep data. • Friends - Connect with your friends on Facebook and see who you’re spending time with, what you’re doing and where. • Sleep Cycle connection - For accurate sleep data, connect with Sleep Cycle alarm clock through Apple Health. (Life Cycle only reads data from Health, it does not share any data. It reads Sleep Analysis and Steps data.) PREMIUM FEATURES • Connect to your Sleep Cycle account - If you have an online backup account with Sleep Cycle, Life Cycle will let you know how your daily habits affect your sleep quality score. • Backup - Keep your data safe with our backup system. Never worry about losing your Life Cycle logs again. • Graphs - Beyond the donuts, Life Cycle shows you what you do with your time in detailed graphs for deeper analysis. The visuals gives you insight to if you're spending your time on what’s most important to you. • Compare trends - see if you’re dropping in sleep hours, if you’re working too much or if you’ve taken longer walks this week. Compare trends over the weeks, months or years. BATTERY CONSUMPTION Continued use of GPS running in the background can dramatically decrease battery life. Life Cycle does not use the GPS in the background, but instead relies on cell tower and Wi-Fi locations. As a result, it consumes less than 1% of your battery per day, when the app runs in the background. REQUIREMENTS • Life Cycle needs to run in the background to be able to record your data. It only uses 1% of your battery per day when doing so. • You need to carry your phone with you, for Life Cycle to accurately record and interpret your activities. • Wi-Fi should be enabled on your phone for tracking to work. • One of the most useful apps I’ve tried — but now totally broken, and no way to get help.

I originally tried Life Cycle on a trial basis and thought it was pretty awesome. It helped me see where my time was going and whether it was aligned with my priorities. The way it passively tracked time and showed trends gave me that big-picture “forest through the trees” insight into my daily routines. I didn’t mind the constant tracking — I’m not a criminal, and the privacy policy seemed reasonable for a short trial. That said, the issues started after I paid for a subscription. Instead of unlocking features, the app removed features I had access to during the trial. I assumed it was a sync or delay issue, so I gave it time. After all, this is designed to be a background app — something you forget about until you want to reflect. That’s what I did. But now, months later, I’ve confirmed it’s still not working. My Apple App Store subscription clearly shows I’ve paid and am current through 2026, but the Life Cycle app itself insists my subscription expired in 2024. I’ve tried using the “Restore Purchase” button — it says it worked, but nothing changes. Features are still locked. The app continues to behave as though I never subscribed. The final straw? I tried to contact the developer for support, and their website redirects to an error page. There is literally no way to reach them. I’m a paying customer with a broken app and no support options. If I could give zero stars, I would. Apple — if you’re reading this, developers on your platform should be required to offer support if they’re charging subscription fees. This developer is not complying, and your users deserve better accountability.

Been using for years and logged on the other day and all my info is gone. Boooo!! Unreliable
  • I like, but wish there was a way to correct it

I enjoy this app, BUT, there is no way to correct where it thinks I am and what I am doing there- which is insanely frustrating. I work in retail and it thinks I shop 40 hours a weeks. Their customer service page doesn’t work either so there is no way to get any support. Which is very frustrating. Does anyone know how to fix this?
  • Missing a few key features

The basic functionality of this app behaves as expected, and the privacy and export features are great. Two features that would make this a 5-star app: 1. The ability to edit location activities in bulk. It is unavoidable that this app often records my location as the museum next to my office (associated activity: visit museum), but it's infuriating that I can't change the activity associated with a location in bulk. For a given location, I should be able to set all instances of one activity to a different activity. (Work used to be school, so it would be nice if I only had to change the "visit museum" activity at the associated location to "work", rather then all activities at the associated location). 2. Sometimes you end up having two different activities at the same location. The app seems to arbitrarily decide which of those activities to attribute to that location going forward. It really needs the ability to set a default automatic activity. These two features would basically change the recordkeeping value of this app from "not accurate at all", to "usually pretty accurate"
  • Unable to view locations

Right now it says I’ve been to a million places in the last year but since I haven’t labeled every single one there’s no way to visualize them. I would love to see them on a map with time stamps on each. Who cares about the label?
  • App great. Support poor.

App is fantastic. Truly not a battery drain and amazing to keep a running log 24/7 without having to do anything. Online backup has not worked in over a year. Support has been unresponsive. I’m getting a replacement iPhone and will lose a ton of data if I can’t find a valid work-around backup. I recommend the app. I do NOT recommend subscribing to online backup, at least not until support improves.
  • Apparently Developed for Those Going to Different Locations

This app is apparently designed to track moving to various locations, noting purpose and time spent at them. When I’m home do different things everything must be added manually with the result that it will show me the same information I already get by using another app I have been using. The other app tracks my time when I simply click on an event or task. In addition, there appears to no way to change or delete the names of events.
  • Almost exactly what I want

I love everything that’s already there in this app, it’s just missing a huge opportunity. I spend most of my time at home, and a lot of that on my phone or computer. It would be really helpful to be able to sync up iOS screen time data with my donuts. Currently I find it interesting to see where I spend my time physically, but it just doesn’t give me the full view of my habits since so much of it is online. If it had this function I’d probably shell out for premium.
  • A great tracker

Simply put Life Cycle tracks everything you do and everywhere you do it. It’s pretty accurate, but it allows you to go in and override any entry which I love and then it learns oh this place is where you usually have a business meeting … probably machine learning, but that’s what it’s supposed to do. I can also see kind of months I’ve had in an even compare years. Well worth downloading and using.

Love the app. I’ve been using it for several years. I especially like that important events like appointments or visiting someone in the hospital or going out to dinner are recorded. I’m am my households keeper of events big and small.
