Update.. December 18, 2024..There have been multiple updates to the app but still can only view cameras on home internet . October 7,2024 The cloud says offline. I am connected to internet and can view my cameras through the app at home on my home internet, but not from mobile internet or any internet outside of my home.

This app used to work up until this week when it decided to stop working and kicks me out.

I like this camera the best; its amazing. You don’t need to subscribe to their cloud either. You have an option to use an SD card that once you setup your camera, you have options on recording & can have it set to record all day & notifications setup to what you think is important. I have mine setup to record all day. You can download and save videos that you want directly to your phone, then delete & clean the sd card once it’s full from the app. You won’t be able to view live video in the HD quality but upon reviewing from your SD card you can download it in HD. I had to reformat & reset a few times because turning the light switch on & off caused some technical issues. Also wifi signals, that aren’t strong will cause delays & lag so you will need a wifi boost system if you want to resolve the lagging. The app is good to setup personal preferences & PTC is really great feature. Haven’t had any problems. User error on my end until I found the directions in the box then scanned the QR code that went into more depth on fixing problems. Don’t throw away the box your camera comes in, directions or throw away the QR stickers on the camera. After installed properly; setup & working properly remove the QR sticker from the camera & put it on the box & keep both in safe place & don’t throw away in case you need to reset your camera. I agree with someone else who wrote it’s user error & because most people don’t read all the instructions or understand how to use it they’re saying it’s a scam or doesn’t work but this is simply not true. They just don’t know how to read or follow instructions. The biggest key point here is when setting it up initially you need to plug it into an outlet where your WiFi strength is the best then after setup is complete unplug then put plug/lightbulb where you need the video & finish calibrating and setting up home button options & customizations. If you’re WiFi strength is slow you will need Wi-Fi extension kit.

Checked every setting in my iPhone everything says it’s on but the notifications is not showing on my screen I am now getting the play back and can view them Just the notifications are not popping up on my phone As of 12-11-2024 not getting notifications and the it’s not losing playback again what do I need to do

A security camera I got for free uses this app. It doesn’t even let you connect to your wifi to add the camera as a device. It just takes you to your settings app. It’s completely unusable. It has an AI bot that is very poorly designed to help you - it does NOT. There’s no way to contact anyone at all. Avoid at all costs

I bought the subscription and I do NOT recommend this app. It is hacked and disconnects when it wants. This app is fake and does not work. The video is hackable and motion detection recorded video is deleted and the screenshots/video is jammed when something happens. It claims there is “no video playback available at this time” when you try to retrieve the video recording.

This system is horrible and doesn’t work and there’s no one to contact about it. The QR codes don’t work, your password doesn’t work, the cameras don’t work to often and the app doesn’t work.

For a so called decent camera the app is hella slow logging in. By the time I open the app to see who or what’s at my front door it or they r gone. At least the ring automatically logs into the camera when I get a notification

I cannot get my refund for cancellation!! I cancelled the subscription because I returned the cameras because they did not work for the purpose intended .. now I have paid 55.90 to this company for nothing and they refuse to refund my money and I’m still in the free 7 days before subscription starts and have 2 days remaining of the free 7 days still cannot get my refund I guess you need to watch who you deal with on the internet! Plenty of thieves out there!!!!

I am very happy with this app. The other ratings of less than five stars can be attributed to user error - many issues mentioned are related to various camera or DVR/NVR hardware, or lack thereof - not this software, and it’s not fair to conflate them. I have been using this app for over a month now with my security camera system and I have had no problems, no errors, and no glitches. It does exactly what it advertises and more. User interface is very simple to navigate. No frills, no fancy distractions, just business. The refresh rate on the video feeds is very fast (less than a half-second), the feeds do not needlessly lag, which is probably most important. Plus, the ads are not intrusive, they only appear on a single tab, which can be viewed or avoided easily. I’m actually impressed by the ad placement for a free app. I definitely highly recommend this app.
