  • Waste of money

    Save yourself $2- it said there were no duplicates despite staring at 100s of them. It uses no more logic than the Photos app which is not detecting them... You get what you pay for.

    Don't buy it just don't waste your time on all it does is crash every time you try to apply the photo removal.

    The ONLY thing wrong with this app is when you’re trying to remove duplicates from a source not local to your PC. In my case, a NAS device on my network. It finds the dupes just fine, offers to delete the dupes, but then you have to approve, with a mouse click, each and every duplicate. Not a problem for 10 or 20. I even did it for 800. 800 mouse clicks. But for 2,000? They need to have just one global “Are you sure?” question, then proceed to remove all the dupes. The NAS may ask for an approval for each item, but this program should be able to feed the necessary approval to the NAS to keep the user from having to do it manually. My solution was to copy all the files to my PC, search for and delete the dupes there, automatically, then copy all the remaining files back to the NAS. A workaround, but it shouldn’t be necessary. Otherwise, a fine program.

    I know I have several GB of duplicates. Another program found them just fine. But I'm looking for a more user friendly program for my Mom. This is not it. It said I had zero duplicates after spending about 2 seconds searching. Nice. Super glad I spent money on this.

    I am so sad to report that after using Duplicate Photos Cleaner many of my photos are to distorted (blurred) to be of any value at all. Some folders show the # of photos and they are displayed and other folders show for a moment then disappear and show as memory or slide show appears. Other folders may show that there are 37 photos but only 10 appear. Needless to say I am extremely disappointed with your app. Is this an exception or is the app that flawed?

    I bought this and got error messages. I wrote to support and they answered. I followed the instructions again , several times, perfectly. Same errors. I wrote to them again - no response. I followed up twice, no response. Do not waste your money. Very poor service.

    had a folder with 3000 images in it and most are duplicates 3 or 4 times. should be hundreds of dublicates, it only found 3
