This app lures you in with tons of profiles emailing you and wanting to talk to you. But you ca. only respond to a chat with one response then it lures you in with the subscription. So you pay the subscription and the all of a sudden in the middle of the convo, you have to pay credits to continue chatting!! What the heck is the subscription for? I feel scammed. And I want my money back!

Crazy expensive. I bought $50 worth of ‘credits’. It was not clear how the points/credits system worked. I began replying back to the men that messaged me (from far away countries, no one local and feasible) to let them know I wasn’t looking for long distance. I only got about five messages out and I was already out of credits. $50 in credits bought me five messages?? WTH!?! Unless you’ve got money to burn and are looking to chat with folks across the globe from you this app isn’t for you. Now, they won’t delete my profile. It’s been days since I tried to delete my profile. They say their team has to approve the request. What I think is they are making money each time these guys continue to message me so they stall the deletion as they are banking on my profile. Not cool. I would not recommend giving this app your money!

I just feel like they created this app to scam money out of people . Most people in the app are seem fake and not from America . My guess is maybe the app is not made for US . I only see Chinese , Spain ,Mexico , Italy people and I keep purchase to chat . Conversation only can do with one person and last maybe 2, 3 minute and then no more credits . They got your money . Don’t waste your money on this app and funny thing about it is that some people I tried to ask them if they instagram or something better to communicate . They say they prefer the app It’s a waste of my money . Save your money and spend it on app that allows at least one week subscription not an app that is required paying 40 bucks for a couple messages . Keep in mind email messages cost 20 and regular email I think one or 2 if you wanna keep using it , my advice is to never read email or send email just text the person instead to buy you some time ..I am out good luck everyone else

Wow! If I’d wanted to chat with women half my age I’d have to give five stars. They were like piranhas on a feeding frenzy. Also received three lenghty, well-rehearsed sounding messages from hotties in far flung areas of the world. And this was all in the first few hours! Since I signed up to “date my age”, however, and there were a whopping four ladies in my area of the US, I’m going to move on before I literally get eaten by all the predators on this site.

What a scam. Highlight: the product/services sold here are clearly a federal crime, providing misleading claims about the product to say the least. You have to pay to play immediately, or as they refer to it, “pay-per-action.” I only found this out after I paid for the service and was dissatisfied. So, I searched quite a while outside of the app only to find finer print that isn’t available in the descriptions or links in the App Store when downloading the app. Once you pay, you realize there are ZERO matches in your area - contrary to the advertisement that led me to this app. Within minutes, I contacted customer support and they WILL NOT refund you. Their customer service is terrible and put the fault on you for signing up for the app they sell based on false intent. It is the epitome of false advertisement. And quite honestly theft because their advertisement coerces you into into purchasing the membership based on false intent (purchasing a membership is the only way you can add filters to see matches in your area). Everything about this product screams, “incredibly fraudulent misrepresentation of services sold on this app.” This also makes the app very unsafe, as your information is now out there since you must upload pictures and set your prompts before seeing potential (nonexistent matches). Every profile I received a message from was clearly (just so incredibly obvious) were fake. When you do get a message, the match is from a different continent (which goes against original intent of the purchase based on their advertising). If you respond to a match, the responses back are lengthy and immediate - I’m talking within seconds - that should take at least a couple of minutes for a “real” person to craft a reply. The replies are clearly autogenerated or AI generated, not only due to the response time, but also because the grammar is too perfect. Additionally, “members” sent multiple messages within seconds (4-5 messages within 1 second). Members are either bots or paid to be on here. Every “member” that sent a message used the same verbiage - most notably using the words, “fate,” “you caught my eye,” “you caught my attention,” and inquiries stating they, “want to know what the possibilities are between us” - exact same verbiage by multiple members that live in different countries. I have screenshots of every message. No response from this app developers will negate the fact that 1) this is fraudulent/false advertisement 2) the product/service is significantly different from the description written in the App Store to sell the product/service - which makes multiple false claims such as (directly from their product description): “SAFE AS SAFE CAN BE Safety, privacy protection and member verification are the keystones of DateMyAge. Our Al-powered screening and moderation system defends our community 24/7. You can rely on us to keep you safe!” *******there is ZERO screening system in place that defends their “community.”******* Also to note: when you click the link to view their privacy policy, it states, “page not found” And the terms and conditions link simply takes you to a landing page to purchase the product/service. I signed up for this app and within 2 minutes realized how much of a scam it was. I reached out to customer service and was told I had to request a refund through Apple. I’m concerned for anyone’s safety that uses the app - not just my own, given that this app is so incredibly shady. I cannot immediately delete the account and there are no customizable privacy setting options. Very poor customer service. I requested my account to be deleted within minutes. It has been a day now and my deletion request is “being reviewed and is in process.” If they have 24/7 customer service, why can my account not be deleted right away?As I write this review, my account is STILL active after requesting deletion. Very sketchy. Do not use. I could write much, much more here, but the above review should be enough to warn others looking for dating alternatives to STAY AWAY FROM THIS APP!!!!!!! —-UPDATE: the below is in response to the developer’s reply to the original review above, in which I have also responded directly to the developer: Your response is highly irresponsible. Let me make one thing abundantly clear here, I am in no way confused by your app’s functionality. It’s disgraceful that you would even make that statement based on my very detailed review, but not in the least unexpected. Further, not only do your services not “align with my expectations,” they don’t align with your own standards and practices set forth in your description, terms of agreement, or policies; let alone your very misleading advertisements. It isn’t matter of “if” your services are as advertised, it is a matter of fact that they are not. Your canned response was everything I expected. Your services go beyond swindling consumers out of their money, they are also causing punitive emotional and psychological damage, as well - which speaks volumes to your lack of ethics and morality when it comes to protecting your consumers. But, I’ll be honest since you clearly won’t: you do not care or have the slightest bit of concern for your consumers. It’s about taking your consumers for their money and preying on their vulnerability. I won’t stand for that and neither should Apple or any other platform that allows your service to be sold. Bottom line: you know what you’re doing is illegal and harmful. Shame on you to respond to this review by blaming the end user for being “confused” - that’s intentionally short-sighted and insulting, which given your app’s dishonesty and integrity issues, truly comes as no surprise.

If you are looking for someone who lives in Brazil, Argentina, Norway, Canada, this is the app for you! Unfortunately I live in the US, so the commute is a little long for me.

After being a member for only a few days, I was constantly receiving messages from fake/scam profiles. Does the App not do anything to try to help prevent this? And the pricing structure is misleading- even with paid monthly membership there’s a series of additional fees for interactions with some users. Very disappointing.

I would give zero stars if I could!!! Believe every single comments here that tells you it’s fake, no matter what they say, it’s true! There’s nothing real about this app and what they say they’re offering. The cute and decent men in there are not real, they’re all bots made by the company to trick you into talking and spend money. Somehow all of them are popular members! The normal members are not advertised. A normal chat conversation of 1hr will cost you a good $200, this is after an already paid membership not JK. People get arrested for stealing a pen, so why aren’t these developers behind bars??? Instead they’re being advertised as helpers in the dating scene so they can take advantage of people’s desperation and hope. Sin vergüenzas! You should be ashamed of yourself!

Please refund my money. You have a scam going on. None of the men are looking for relationship just to keep you talking to add more money they your pockets. Peace Warden dissatisfied customer.
